You can choke the notes as well, which also impressed me. Still, it sounds a bit thin – but it’s a Strat, so who can complain? If you want a big thick tone, you’d likely look for something with humbuckers as it stands. Typically you can adjust your hand to determine how chunky you want it to sound, but this sounds great right out of the gate. I was very impressed with how the palm muted the sound. Stratus is quite a nice little library, with a few different articulations and three octaves of playing range.
